A must-do climb for any cyclist is the Stelvio Pass in the Italian Alps. This excellent video shows what’s involved in getting up this epic climb.

The climb was used for the first time in the Giro d’Italia in 1953 when Fausto Coppi beat Hugo Koblet. It has been used numerous times since.

At 2,757m, the Stelvio is the highest climb in the Eastern Alps and is just 13m lower than the Col de l’Iseran. It really is one of the climbs that all cyclists should try and tackle at some stage.
