The organisers of the Wicklow 200 have announced that the sportive has been postponed until Sunday 9th of August. The 39th edition of the event which is organised by the Irish Veteran Cyclists Association was originally scheduled to take place on Sunday the 7th of June.

In a statement released today, they said: “Unfortunately, due to the impact of Covid-19, Wicklow 200 2020 is being postponed until Sunday 9th August. We are very disappointed to have to do this, but as you can imagine, current circumstances mean we have no choice. We would like to reassure registered participants that your entry will transfer directly to the new event. We are emailing all registered participants with details on the change today. Please bear with us during this unprecedented and challenging time and rest assured we are working to deliver a great event later this year. In the meantime, please take care of yourselves and follow Government guidance.”
