Following on from the recent news that the Junior Tour of Ireland is struggling financially, there has been a considerable level of discussion about ways to try and raise funds to save the race.
There has been talk of a number of cyclosportives taking place around the country with the money raised going towards funding the race. One such fundraising effort is being proposed by Sean McNicholl who is aiming to hold a sportive in Ulster.
