This is a great montage video from the recent An Post Rás. The video shows off stunning scenery, especially from the west coast of Ireland and includes some great filming from drones. It features a mix of sprint finishes, climbs, crashes and other action.
Lukas Postlberger of the Tirol Cycling Team won the race overall, despite a bad crash on the penultimate stage, while the An Post Chain Reaction team took the green Points jersey through Aaron Gate, the King of the Mountains jersey for Aidis Kruopis and the Under-23 classification for Ryan Mullen. Postlberger said after the race: “It’s really amazing to take this trophy. People speak of this race and how tough it is but you have to experience it yourself to really understand. I love this country and the people. The support they showed me over the eight days was something I’ll never forget. This is an honour for me to wear this yellow jersey so thank you to everyone.”
