The route of the Gran Fondo Giro d’Italia has been announced. It will cover what is considered the queen stage of the Giro, from Pinzolo to Aprica. The 175-kilometre route will cover the climbs of Campo Carlo Magno, Passo del Tonale, Aprica, and Mortirolo before the final climb toward Aprica. There will also be a medium route available which covers 102km and finishes on the first passage through Aprica.
The ride will take place on Sunday, May 17, 2015 and registrations open in December. The Giro will cover the same stage on the 26th of May.
