Martyn Ashton is famous for the video Road Bike Party which was released in 2012 which has over 12 million hits on YouTube. However, in 2013 while filming Road Bike Party 2 Martyn had an accident which left him paralyzed from the waist down.

Since his paralysis, Ashton has found ways to return to biking and last year, he filmed ‘Back on Track’ on a mountain bike with some small modifications.

He’s taken on another challenge since and ‘Down Not Out – Mountain Bike Party’ is a film from Global Mountain Bike Network which sees the British rider take on the UCI Mountain Bike Downhill World Cup course in Nevis Range, Fort William on his very special bike.

The course is arguably the toughest course on the Downhill World Cup circuit is feared by many able-bodied pros. It requires strength, lightning, superior bike control and nerves of steel.
