On today’s stage of the Three Days of De Panne, there was a bit of friction between riders from the Direct Energie team and a rider from the Katusha team of race leader Alexander Kristoff.
It’s unclear at this stage who the two riders involved were. It appears that the Direct Energie rider and the Katusha rider barged off each other towards the front of the bunch with the former rider giving the Katusha rider a push in the arm.
The Katusha rider takes umbrage at this and seems to try and force his rival off the road, before trying to punch his rival in the upper arm.
They both then merged back with the bunch. It will be interesting to see what action the commissaires will take after the race.

@Driedaagse_ This is unacceptable! @katushacycling rider must be kicked out the race just like @glbrambilla last year #3dpk
The Katusha rider should be disqualified!
What would Luke do?
I’m an adult now! But come on who are we kidding…we all know what I’d do!
