Belgian rider Xandro Meurisse will leave the Irish team An Post-Chain Reaction Cycles at the end of this season, having signed for UCI Continental team Crelan-Vastgoedservice (currently Vastgoedservice-Golden Palace) for 2016.

The 23 year-old had some impressive results during his season with An Post including 10th overall at the Tour of Britain (UCI 2.HC), winner of the mountains classification at the Circuit des Ardennes (UCI 2.2) and 8th overall at Boucles de la Mayenne (UCI 2.1).

There will be big changes at An Post next year as Meurisse joins Ryan Mullen, Sean Downey, Alistair Slater, Conor Dunne and Eoin McCarthy in leaving the team.

Prior to riding with An Post, Meurisse had raced as a stagiaire with Lotto-Belisol at the end of last season having previously raced for their U23 team. He’s the third signing to be announced for the Crelan-Vastgoedservice team after Frederique Robert and Yannick Eijssen (Wanty Group Gobert).
