Tyler Farrar has called time on his 15-year career with the Grand Prix Cycliste de Montréal last Sunday his last race.

Farrar started his career with the Jelly Belly team back in 2003 and went on to ride for Health Net–Maxxis, Cofidis and Garmin before joining MTN Qhubeka in 2015.

The 33-year-old American won stages in all three Grand Tours and also took victories in one-day races such as Scheldeprijs and Vattenfall Cyclassics.

Tyler Farrar – The last 15 years have been a surreal adventure, but the time has come for me to call an end to my career. Cycling is a beautiful sport and it has been a dream come true for me to be a part of the rolling circus that is the professional peloton.

“I have been honoured to be a part of great teams and work with many amazing people throughout my career. I am leaving with wonderful memories and I would like to sincerely thank everyone, the fans, staff, family and friends who have supported me over the years.
