The two most recent winners of the An Post Rás, Clemens Fankhauser and Marcin Bialoblocki, have both been linked with new teams today.
The 2014 winner, Fankhauser, has revealed that he will be leaving Team Tirol for an unnamed new Austrian continental team. The Austrian enjoyed an excellent 2014 season. In addition to winning the Rás, he finished in second place in both the Tour of Serbia and the Baltic Chain Tour, and was a top ten finisher in the Austrian National Championships.
Meanwhile, the previous year’s winner of the Rás, Marcin Bialoblocki, has been linked with a new British team being established. ONE Pro Cycling have been linked with the Polish rider, in addition to Jonny Bellis, Yanto Barker and Pete Williams, amongst others.
Bialoblocki is currently with the Velosure – Giordana Racing Team and finished seventh in the Rás this year.
