Team Novo Nordisk, the world’s first all-diabetes professional cycling team, and Dexcom, a global leader in development, manufacturing, and distribution of continuous glucose monitoring systems for diabetes management, have announced a partnership that will provide products to continuously monitor blood glucose levels to athletes on Team Novo Nordisk’s men’s professional team.

“I am thrilled to announce the partnership with Dexcom. Since they launched, they have shown their commitment to people with diabetes and commitment to innovation. This has reshaped how we live and dream with diabetes,” said Team Novo Nordisk CEO and Co-Founder Phil Southerland.

“Dexcom’s continuous glucose monitoring devices are a big reason why Team Novo Nordisk can inspire, educate, and empower people with diabetes so consistently as we race around the globe. Our riders have been using their products for years, and we look forward to developing a long-term partnership. Together, we will continue to change diabetes for years to come.”

“Dexcom’s mission is to empower people to take control of diabetes with our continuous glucose monitoring device,” said Kevin Sayer, President and Chief Executive Officer of Dexcom. “It just so happens that Team Novo Nordisk’s mission is to inspire, educate and empower people affected by diabetes, which makes them a perfect partner to team up with. By constantly tracking their levels with the Dexcom CGM System, the cyclists can focus on the race, rather than on their diabetes. We’re rooting for them and can’t wait to see how they do!”
