With the 2018 edition of the Eurocycles Eurobaby Junior Tour just four weeks away, the race organisation has revealed a new sponsor for the Points Classification. Dublin based insurance firm, Cross Insurances have joined other classification sponsors Wicklow 200 and Clare County Council as the sponsors of the Points Classification.

Race Director Alice Sherratt explains, “The Points Classification had been sponsored by Eurocycles Eurobaby for the last number of years, but now that they have moved to title sponsor, we are thrilled to have secured the support from Cross Insurances Ltd. This support allows us to deliver a high-quality event for the expected 100 juniors from home and abroad”.

Mr Dermot Rutherford of Cross Insurances Ltd expressed his delight at becoming involved with the Junior Tour, stating “We at Cross Insurances are delighted to be a part of the Junior tour of Ireland. It’s great to be part of such an exciting sport and what a better way to support these up and coming junior cyclists and seeing such dedication to a growing sport.”

The 6-day International Junior Stage Race will also be televised once again with Irish Sports Network filming the action as it takes place over 520 kilometres of County Clare roads from July 10th to the 15th. Domestic athletes will be competing against teams from England, Scotland, Wales, USA, South Africa and the Netherlands.
