The Irish track racing team Black Rose Racing will be a UCI registered pro track team from 2017 onwards, the team announced today.
The team stated that they will launch in April and will be concentrating on both sprint and endurance events for men and women in junior and senior categories. They also stated that they are looking for additional riders to join the team.
Black Rose Racing have enjoyed considerable success since being founded in 2009. Their riders have won numerous medals in national track championship events and will be hopeful of building on this success
The statement from the team is as follows:
“Going Pro! Black rose racing will be a UCI registered pro track team for the 2017 season and beyond. We have invested in equipment and infrastructure and lined up sponsors and riders. We will launch in April and race immediately.”
