The italian rider Elisa Longo-Borghini (Wiggle Honda) won yesterday’s Tour of Flanders following a solo breakaway. Longo-Borghini finished 43″ ahead of team mate Jolien D’Hoore who outsprinted Anna Van Der Breggen (Rabo Liv Women Cycling Team).

Longo-Borghini broke away from the peloton with about 20 kilometers to go to win the third race in the World Cup, which covered 145 kms and featured ten climbs.
