In one of the most exciting Paris-Roubaix races in recent years, Mathew Hayman (Orica-GreenEdge) sprinted to victory ahead of Tom Boonen (Etixx-QuickStep) with Ian Standard (Team Sky) in third with many of the favourites such as Peter Sagan (Tinkoff) and Fabian Cancellara (Trek-Segafredo) missing out.

Teams which are part of Velon used GoPro Hero4 Session cameras to capture much of the action and some of the footage is great. It was the first time that onboard filming had taken place at the race.

The footage shows the roll-out from the start and action towards the front as the break tries to form. Numerous crashes are captured on the cobbled sections, and also the race can be seen from the perspective of a mechanic and photographer who also carry cameras.
