The Movistar Team have announced that Dani Moreno has signed with Eusebio Unzué’s squad for the 2016 and 2017 seasons.

Moreno has been a pro for eleven seasons having started his career with Relax (2005-07), later moving on to Unzué’s Caisse d’Epargne team (2008-09) and he spent one season with the Omega Pharma-Lotto squad. He has spent the last five years with Katusha.

His biggest win is the 2013 Flèche Wallonne. He has also won three stages of the Vuelta a España where he has finsihed fifth (2012), ninth (twice, in 2011 and 2015) and tenth (2013) overall. He has also taken victories in the Vuelta a Burgos, Vuelta a Andalucía, and Dauphiné. Two weeks ago, he finished 2nd in Il Lombardia.

Moreno is the Movistar Team’s fourth addition to its roster for the 2016 season. The other signings announced are Jorge Arcas, Nelson Oliveira and Carlos Betancur.
