A YouTube user named Riding with Jahv has posted a video showing what he contends with on a cycle across the iconic Brooklyn Bridge.
He films numerous pedestrians in the bike path and at one stage even passes a wedding party in the bike lane. He mutters expletives under his breath as he cycles, and seems to have a particular dislike of those with selfie sticks.
The path is clearly marked showing which side is for pedestrians and which is for cyclists, but this is ignored by numerous people.
It’s a situation that many will be familiar with though, as it’s not just the Brooklyn Bridge where this happens.

I cycle on that bridge at least three times a week. It is awesome and I love it. Just watch it on my you tube channel.
My favorite is encountering the self absorbed couple (including a bridge and groom) taking photos in the middle of the paths
It’s dangerous and dumb to try to use it most of the time.
We did it, lots of tourists walking in the way would be a pain if it was your commuter route but other wise just a wee bit of patience and its a class way to get about
