We’ve seen loads of folding bikes and most have tiny wheels and are quite heavy. The Helix plans to change that with it’s 24″ wheels and titanium frame which, when assembled looks pretty close to a normal bike. Looking at the video, unfolding the bike looks super quick and easy to do and in it’s folded state two bikes can fit into the back of a mini cooper.
The Canadian built bike looks set to be a huge hit having already passed its $120,000 goal on Kickstarter with $658,957 pledged with 29 days still to go.
