Just seven days after fracturing his collar, Alex Dowsett is back training on his turbo trainer.
His Movistar team announced the news on Twitter, saying “Alex Dowsett is already on the trainer. Just seven days after his collarbone fracture. This is why cyclists are heroes!”
Dowsett is still hopeful of making the record attempt on February 27 at the Lee Valley Velodrome in London. He suffered the injury as a result of a training accident in Essex last week, and underwent surgery on Thursday.
