An Post-Chain Reaction rider Aidis Kruopis is set to leave the Irish team and join Belgian squad Verandas-Willems for next season according to Wielerflits.nl.
The Lithuanian champion had a successful season with the Irish team. In addition to winning the national championships, he also won the Mountains Classification and two stages of An Post Rás (UCI 2.2) and Antwerpse Havenpijl (UCI 1.2).
29 year-old Kruopis previously rode for Orica-GreenEdge where he won stages of the Tour of Turkey (UCI 2.HC), Tour du Poitou-Charentes (UCI 2.1), Tour of Poland (World Tour) and Tour of Norway (UCI 2.HC) amongst other races.
Kruopis will help fill the void for Verandas-Willems being left by the departure of Gaetan Bille and Dimitri Claeys. Both riders are moving to Wanty Groupe Gobert.
