Bilenky Junkyard Cross is a less-than-formal bike race through the junkyard behind Bilenky Cycle Works in Philadelphia. The racecourse has chicanes through oil-stained gravel and obstacles made of scrap plywood supported in unidentifiable ways to the top of a rusted heating oil tank.
The organisers say that “costumes are encouraged, partying mandatory, rules optional”
