Essex Police have confirmed that a man has voluntarily attended Chelmsford police station to give his account of the incident after the video went viral yesterday of the cyclist being hit by the van and then assaulted by the driver. The matter is now in the hands of the Metropolitan Police. According to the police they are still waiting to hear from the cyclist who was involved in the incident. The cyclist had posted the video on YouTube earlier in the day but had removed it for unknown reasons. Thanks to the power of the internet another copy of the video was uploaded which then went viral.
