Team Sky have just released the list of Sky riders who are taking part in their respective national championships this week. On the list is Philip Deignan who will take part in the Irish Champs this coming Sunday. With the Tour de France start in just ten days this most likely means Deignan will not be selected for the Tour team this year.
Team Sky are holding their cards very close to their chest and won’t be releasing the list of riders taking part in the tour till next Monday. With the absence of Roche’s name from the list there is still some hope that the Irish rider will be selected for the tour team despite his name not being on a list which was posted accidentally on the teams website yesterday.
