It was announced yesterday that British rider, Josh Edmondson, has signed for An Post Chain Reaction.
Edmondson had raced with Team Sky in 2013 and 2014, but his contract was not renewed at the end of last season. Earlier this year, he raced in the Herald Sun Tour with the Great Britain team.
Edmondson said, “I got in touch with the team through speaking with Kurt Bogaerts and deciding together that the team would suit me. I’m very excited about the coming season. I want to continue to learn this year and work on managing myself as an athlete. After a couple of years playing a team role at Sky I’m looking forward to racing aggressively and perhaps being able to race more in a style that suits me.”
An Post Team Manager Kurt Bogaerts said, “With Edmondson we have an extra rider with some additional qualities that we were missing. We are very proud and know that Josh will fit right in. A talented rider like him is the perfect guy for our team.”
