In September of this year, the UCI Road World Championships took place in Richmond, Virginia and it was only the second time that the event had taken place in the U.S.

Despite the limited amount of climbing on the course, the races that week proved to be exciting with Peter Sagan and Lizzie Armitstead claiming the biggest prizes, the men’s and women’s road races.

This short film from Tijo Media shows what took place over those nine days when the eyes of the cycling world were focused on Richmond. The producers of the film say that “this super cut is a culmination of 4 years of hard work wrapped up in one week of shooting.”
