A nice little video edit complete with Mario theme music and graphic overlay highlights the terrible infrastructure for cyclists on the roads of Manchester. In the three minutes plus of the video there is only one stretch of cycle lane which lasts just 28 seconds and is on a straight stretch of road and not at the large roundabouts where they are actually needed.
In the video the commuter passes an impressive 269 vehicles over .8 miles of road. The big question is why do drivers enjoy sitting in their cars and spending four times as long on the commute?
