The Stayin’ Alive at 1.5 campaign is going from strength to strength, and yesterday evening, The Last Word with Matt Cooper featured Noel Gibbons of Mayo County Council and Phil Skelton, the man behind the campaign.

The aim of the campaign is to pursue the adoption of a law that requires motorists to give cyclists 1.5 metres clearance when passing from the rear.
