The Japan Cup took place recently at Utsunomiya and the video below was produced from onboard footage. It was filmed by four riders using Sony Action Cam HDR-AS200V cameras.
Footage produced to-date by Velon in World Tour races has not included information to really show what’s happening in the race. However, the footage from Japan does provide more information to viewers to help explain what’s happening in the race.
Amongst the information shown is the name of the rider the footage is from, the lap number, position of the rider in the race, names of other riders shown in the footage, current speed and average speed.
The 35.65 kilometre races was won by Fumiyuki Beppu (Trek Factory Racing) ahead of Ben Swift (Team Sky) and Steele Von Hoff (NFTO).
