Earlier this week, a junior cyclist from the UK posted a statement on a forum explaining the circumstances in which he had used EPO and was subsequently caught.
18 year-old Gabriel Evans, then went on to win the National Junior 10m TT in the UK, a title which he has now forfeited.
Amongst those who responded to the news was Cannondale-Garmin’s Ryan Mullen who took to Twitter to say “Heard someone used EPO to win the junior National 10 mile TT championships. If I recall correctly, I won that race hungover. Who needs EPO?!”
He later added: “Obviously I do not condone racing with a hangover either. Don’t do it kids!”
Now that’s funny
Probably would have won it on a high nelly
