Roscommon-born actor Chris O’Dowd has been cast as David Walsh in the film Icon, which is based on Walsh’s book Seven Deadly Sins. He spoke to Newstalk about the forthcoming film.
The film will tell the story of Walsh’s pursuit of Lance Armstrong and is directed by Stephen Frears. It will also star Ben Foster as Armstrong, Guillaume Caney as Michele Ferrari, Laura Donnelly as Emma O’Reilly and Nicolas Robin as Christophe Bassons.
