The dhb Classic Thermal bib tights are the improved version of their Vaeon Roubaix bib tights and are great value considering their high quality.
The tried and tested material used for the main part of the tights is their super soft Lombardia Roubaix Lycra. It’s a mix of 86% polyamide and 14% elastane and having worn them in pretty cold conditions, they do provide great warmth.
They were a good tight fit and the zips and silicone grips at the ankles help to ensure that they stay in place and don’t rise up your leg.
The tights also come with a reflective dhb logo on the backside and right side leg and reflective strips on both legs to provide extra visibility.
The padded insert used is top quality and it proved very comfortable when tested on a long ride. According to dhb, the pad offers anatomical shaping, has been designed to be comfortable for 3-5hrs riding and has been engineered to give improved airflow.
The fit was good, with plenty of stretch, with ankle zippers and grippers doing the job of holding the tights securely in place..The padded insert was typical high.
Priced at under €74 with Wiggle, these tights are one of the best value pairs of bib tights available.
