Danny Macaskill’s ‘The Ridge’ will be amongst the films to feature at Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour. In the film, Macaskill climbs aboard a mountain bike and returns to his native home of the Isle of Skye in Scotland to take on a death-defying ride along the notorious Cuillin Ridgeline.
Now in its sixth edition, the 2015 UK and Ireland Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour will be the largest to date with 83 screenings taking place in 55 locations, including 15 new venues, between 24 January and 6 June 2015.
The festival showcases a diverse collection of the best and latest films from the global mountain sports community. The two and a half hour programme has been selected from over 370 films which were entered into the prestigious Banff Mountain Film Festival, held in the Canadian Rockies in November 2014.
