British pro cyclist Jon Mould has a posted a video on Twitter showing a common problem faced by cyclists everywhere – how to negotiate a tiled floor in cycling shoes.
Mould who rides for JLT-Condor posted the video with the message: “Is this the most embarrassing thing to happen in the cafe?”
In the video, the cyclist can be seen walking confidently down the middle of the café, before he starts to lose his balance and fall to the floor. It’s a situation that’s undoubtedly happened to many cyclists with nothing hurt but their pride.

happened to me. simply tragic
I’m like bandi when I’m in cleats
Cleat covers!!!
Is this why you don’t like coffee Michael Egerton?
If it only happened to me in a cafe I’d say yes but I’ve nearly had this happen to me at the bottom of the stairs in my house…
Michael Egerton I nearly did it in the staff canteen at Asda.
That’s why I wear MTB shoes, cleats are recessed!
Ciaran Ruane!!!
That’ll bring back the nightmares!!
