Following on from the likes of Thomas Voeckler (Europcar) and Nicolas Roche (Tinkoff-Saxo), the latest cyclist to take on the challenge of racing against a horse is Arnaud Démare (FDJ.fr).
The French champion took to the start line against Ubera Diem which was pulling a sulky driven by Pierre Vercruysse. The race took place last Friday at Vincennes Hippodrome and you can see how it went in the video below.
