The 25-rider roster for UAE Team Emirates for 2018 met recently in Lugano, Switzerland to discuss preparations for next season.
During the camp, the team were fitted for clothing including helmets and met with the Directeur Sportifs and medical staff. They also were also fitted for bikes and went hiking on Monte Tamaro.
The team have been particularly busy in the transfer market as they target podium places in the Grand Tours next year, after signing Dan Martin from Quick Step Floors and Fabio Aru from Astana.
In addition, they have also signed Alexander Kristoff and Sven Erik Bystrom from Katusha-Alpecin, Rory Sutherland from Movistar and Alexandr Riabushenko. Also joining the team is recently retired Paolo Tiralongo who will work asan assistant Directeur Sportif.
Amongst those leaving the team are Louis Meintjes (Dimension Data), Andrea Guardini (Bardiani-CSF) and Matej Mohoric (Bahrain-Merida).
