On Saturday the 20th of May, the 2017 Wicklow Mountains Cycle Challenge will take place to raise funds for St. James’s Hospital Foundation in Dublin with all proceeds going to the physiotherapy department at the hospital

Following on from the success of last years’ event, the cycle will start and finish in the stunning grounds of Russborough House, Co. Wicklow and you will have 2 routes to choose from.

50-kilometre – The shorter of the 2 routes, the 50-kilometre route brings cyclists on a beautiful tour of Blessington Lakes before returning back to Russborough House.

100-kilometre – This is a much more challenging route and takes cyclists up some of the best climbs in the Garden County including, Sally Gap, Shay Elliott and Slieve Maan.

Whether you choose the 50-kilometre or the 100-kilometre option, you can be assured that you will enjoy some of the most picturesque countryside that Wicklow has to offer.

Registration costs €45 online or €50 on the day with all participants receiving a souvenir event jersey and access to the post event BBQ.
