A 40 year old cyclist in New York has told the police that he agreed to hand over his bike to a robber because he was intoxicated. The unnamed cyclist was riding his bike close to Clinton Avenue and Park Avenue in Brooklyn’s Fort Greene district when he was approached by the unarmed suspect, according to DNAInfo.

The suspect asked him to get off the bike, police said, and the victim said he agreed and did what he was told because he was drunk, according to the NYPD.

The suspect then got on the bike and rode away, police said.

No arrested were made and a description of the suspect is not available.
