Johnny Hoogerland has insinuated that he is yet to receive his full salary from his Androni Giocattoli team as the Dutchman tweeted the following message today to the UCI President Brian Cookson “Where can you go as a rider when your team does not pay your salary?”

The 31 year-old joins the new Dutch Pro Continental squad Team Roompot next year, where he hopes he can regain his previous from his time with Vancansoleil when he took victory in the Dutch Championships and Driedaagse van West-Vlaanderen, amongst other races.

Hoogerland had a mediocre season with Androni with no results of note, and became the first rider to sign for the Roompot. Last month, he received an insurance payout for the crash in the 2011 Tour de France when a car overtaking his group hit Juan Antonio Flecha, who in turn knocked into Hoogerland.
