On Thursday evening Wanty-Groupe Gobert presented its road bike that their riders will use for the 2018 season. The Belgian team had the official opening of its new Service Course in Tournai, behind the bike store Want You Bike and one of the team riders Frederik Backaert and general manager Jean-François Bourlart took the opportunity to present the new version of the Cube Litening C:68.
The Cube Litening C:68 has been used by the team since the 2015 season and since then Enrico Gasparotto triumphed on the bike in Amstel Gold Race and Wanty-Groupe Gobert won the UCI Europe Tour classification twice using the bike.
The Cube Litening C:68 also was also used during their first Tour de France in July of this year.
The new version of the bike has a new colour for the upcoming road campaign in 2018. The bike adopts a darker navy blue with fluo yellow shades and it also has Shimano Dura Ace DI2 9150 electronic shifting.
The wheels remain supplied by Fulcrum, the saddle by San Marco, pedals by Look, stem and seatpost by Ritchey.
