For those that haven’t seen it, American Flyers was a 1985 film starring Kevin Costner. Costner plays an avid cyclist who enters a race in the Rockies with his brother. A lot of the race action was filmed at the Coors Classic and it featured both the 7-Eleven team and Eddy Merckx.
A bike that was used in the film has since come up for sale on ebay for a cool $8,500, and can be seen through the link below. The bike is an early Specialized Allez.
