This behind-the-scenes video shows what Tony Martin’s win on yesterday’s stage of the Tour de France meant to his team.

Davide Bramati cries out in celebration at the German’s victory in Cambrai, and lets Martin’s team mates know of his victory as he passes them. In another team car, Brian Holm is a bit more calm and collected than the Italian as he celebrates with Wilfried Peeters.

A number of the team’s staff are also watching the finish on the team bus, and it’s also obvious how much it means to them.

Who said cycling is not a team sport?

  1. Deadly. I love Yer man saying “yeah on my bike” after Martin had a bike swap with him after a mechanical. Class. Tell you what though the auld Garda Siochana would have a field day lashing out the fines and the points with all the televisions and hand held devices in the cars. They better be careful if the tour ever comes back to Ireland.
