Following the success of their Kickstarter campaign back in June which saw the brand reach their crowdfunding target in just five days, Victory Chimp has expanded popular lines of socks and caps to include a full range of performance apparel in two new collections, Ogham and Stampen.
Available in Men’s and Women’s cuts across two colourways, the collections comprise jerseys, bib shorts, gilets, arm warmers, base layers, caps, buffs and socks.
Founded in 2014, Victory Chimp began life as the creative outlet of Northern Irish freelance designer, illustrator and bike rider, Ryan O’Reilly. When not busy at his desk, Ryan would either be scribbling down his own ideas or riding around the country on his bike. When the latter started exerting an overwhelming influence on the former, Victory Chimp was born. One crash and several weeks away from both bike and computer later, Ryan had plotted a course through the (mostly imagined) intersections of art, cycling, fashion and the great apes.
The Ogham Collection
Inspired by on and off-road adventures in the wild beauty of the Sperrin Mountains and the many remnants of ancient Ireland within them. Ogham, pronounced [ˈoːm], is an early Irish alphabet found inscribed on standing stones.
Each letter represents a native tree, with the pattern made up of Oak, Ash, Elder, Birch, Willow amongst others. The Ogham kit is available in either Olive Green & Orange or Stone Grey & Chartreuse colourways.
The Stampen Collection
The Stampen kit is the team kit for 2018/19. Inspired by Belgian cycling passion and their two favourite aspects of the sport, the cobbled classics and cyclocross.
Heard on both the road and mud-filled course, “Stampen!” (we’re reliably informed by our Flemish collaborator) loosely translates as “Pedal like f—k!”. The Stampen kit is available in either Team Issue or Plum & Teal colourways.
Integrated into all garment rear pockets is Victory Chimp’s patented Banana Positioning Technology™ which they say ensures “optimally stationed wonder fruit on all rides. Embrace your inner chimp, ride safe and go ape.”

Victory Chimp work in partnership with fellow family-run small businesses across Europe to produce the highest quality combination of style and performance.
Kits for Everyone
Victory Chimp strives to make their garments available to all who ride a bike. From launch, their casual and performance clothing lines have been available in either unisex or women’s specific cuts and across a broad range of sizes. They’re taking this even further with our first kit collection, developing each piece independently to create two garments designed exclusively for their respective gender to provide the best fit, feel, look and performance. All Men’s and Women’s cuts will be available in sizes XS-XXXL. They’re not going to limit colourways to specific lines either. You can have either kit’s options in any cut or size.
