Usher Irish Road Club are shocked and saddened to announce the sudden passing of our former club chairman, friend and one of the most dedicated volunteers in Irish Cycling, Frank Gibson.

Franks involvement in the sport almost 40 years brought him across the country and across the world operating the photo finish camera for Cycling Ireland with dedication and pride.

For us, the promoting club of the 52nd Gorey 3 Day of which Frank was part of the organising committee, the race will be continuing as planned today but under a very dark cloud for the race organisation, riders and volunteers.
