The below video is of a bike race held in Uganda where the competitors had to balance pots on their heads. The aim of the race was to highlight the hardships that women in the country face.

Lily Aceng who finished third in the race said that Ugandan women struggle to provide for their family as their multiple daily tasks include fetching water, cooking, gardening and caring for their families.

The two-kilometre Kole District Women Bicycle Competition was held at Aculubanya Primary School and was won by Member of Parliament for Kole District Ruth Acheng.

Acheng won the race in three minutes while Helen Oming finished second in three and a half minutes with Aceng in third in four minutes.

All the competitors received mosquito nets and soap for their efforts.
