UAE Team Emirates have met for a training camp in Siracusa, Sicily and it provided an opportunity for their new signings to meet their new team mates for next season.
The team has signed some big names for next year including European Road Race Champion Alexander Kristoff from Team Katusha – Alpecin, Dan Martin who departs Quick Step Floors and Fabio Aru who has signed from Astana.
The other new riders to join the team are Rory Sutherland, Sven Erik Bystrom and Alexandr Riabushenko while Sacha Modolo (EF Education First-Drapac p/b Cannondale), Matej Mohoric (Bahrain Merida Pro Cycling Team) and Louis Meintjes (Dimension Data) are amongst the riders departing.
In addition to meeting their new team mates, the training camp also provided an opportunity for the riders to test new equipment and to plan race schedules for next year.
