TV and radio presenter Jeremy Vine has posted footage on Twitter today of a motorist cutting across his path as he cycles through London.
The incident happened on Kensington High Street which Vines describes in the video as “one of the most dangerous in London.”
In the video, the driver of the black Mercedes turns onto a side street cutting across the path of Vine, forcing him to brake. Vine then asks the driver what he was doing, with the driver shouting back: “F*** your mum.”
The 51 year-old captioned the video with: “You meet a better class of person in Kensington.”
In August of last year, Vine was threatened by a motorist as he cycled through Kensington. The incident was also captured on his helmet cam. The driver was subsequently jailed for nine months for threatening behaviour.

Great result for Mr Vine… wouldn’t happen for Mr Joe Public !
Why do Brits hate cyclists so much?
Australians are equally rude and aggressive.
Americans are no better.
why does the world hate cyclists so much?
Not just cyclists. I was nearly run over on the sidewalk, by a Range Rover no less, as I was across the street from Buckingham Palace! Driver wanted to prove its durability I suppose.
West Midlands police ran a scheme to improve general behaviour of drivers around cyclists particularly when overtaking them they came to this conclusion.:
“What is apparent from Op Close Pass is how little attention drivers actually pay to what is going on around them. This is because of a number of factors but primarily because drivers have little to fear when it comes to their own personal safety on the road.”
SO it’s a Vine Vine…?
To be fair the car was going slowly and the bus had probably flashed the driver.
Vine was going slow enough to change gear slow down and let the driver across ……
Tosspot got his hahaha !!!
