BBC Tour de France commentator Rob Hatch showed excellent professionalism to keep his commentary going during the final sprint of today’s stage of the Tour de France despite his and co-commentator Rob Hayle’s desk collapsing.
It happened as the riders were winding up their sprint but Hatch never missed a beat.
Some colleagues came to their aid by lifting the desk and allowing them to still keep an eye on the screen and describe the action unfolding.
Pretty impressive!
