A video has been posted online of an encounter between a taxi driver and a cyclist. In the video, the cyclist can be seen tapping on the window of the taxi before the taxi swerves to the right, pushing the cyclist into the kerb with the man then crashing to the ground.
A witness goes to the cyclist’s aid and asks if he’s OK. The cyclist appears to be relatively unhurt though and can be heard telling the driver: “You’re going to jail. That is assault.”
Another witness can be heard joining in as he says “You were harassing him all the way up. For two blocks, you’ve been on his ass.”
The incident was captured by Vlogger Roman Atwood who was visiting the Canadian city and was filming his vlog when the encounter took place.
It was subsequently posted by YouTube user YO Q with the description “Toronto Taxi Driver side hits annoying Delivery Cyclist” and he says in his comments that “Apparently the guy on the bike kept harassing the Taxi driver.” and then asks the question: “What do you think? Deserved it?”

Same thing happened to me private taxi driver done a 3 point turn in traffic at a set of lights i managed to swerve to miss him and he started to reverse back at me he then came up beside me and my son slammed horn pulled in front and hit the brakes then drove away he stopped at lights and when i asked what he was playing at he said ” yous think yous own the f****** road” i pointed out that with the manouvers he just pulled it looked like he owned the road, even his passenger said the driver was in the wrong.

I’m sure the cab driver got away with it. It angers me but my experience has been the authorities don’t want to deal with it.
