With an initial goal of just $75,000 the Storm eBike currently has secured $3,284,846 in funding for it’s budget go anywhere electric bike. With introductory pricing of under $600 it brings electric bikes into the super affordable category. The eBike is quite unlike other electric bikes on the market. Unlike the others they don’t try and hide the battery or disguise it. The battery just sits in the main triangle of the frame. This bike is a beach cruiser with a motor, with big fat tires that should make for a comfy ride. It’s got a 350-watt motor, a promised range of 30 to 50 miles on a charge, or about 90 minutes, and it weighs 55 pounds. With a charge time of around 90 minutes even a long commute to and from work is very possible on this bike and with its offroad capabilities you could always take the scenic route via your favorite trails.
