Neon Velo Cycling Team took part in An Post Rás recently and Nathaniel Rosa has documented the team’s journey in the 8-day Irish stage race.

The team comprised of three British riders, Elliott Porter, Oliver Maxwell and Kieran Simcox, American rider Jeremy Durrin and Irish rider Marc Potts.

The riders talk about the difficulties they faced during the eight days with regard to the speed of the race, the constant need for full concentration and the ever-present dangers of crashing.

The team had their ups and downs during the race with Porter being hospitalised on the penultimate stage after crashing heavily. They did finish on a high though with Durrin grabbing eighth place on the final stage
